Abstract

Reflections on Saint-Non and his contemporaries should lead us to some important considerations. The close relationship between archaeology and architecture, drawing and survey, mathematics and form are aspects that open interesting and original links to other disciplines to encourage research to further definitions of representation.
Collaboration with archaeologists and historians of architecture can open up even more a program increasingly called for the construction for archives of memory available on the Web for museums and archaeological sites accessible in an innovative and integrated way. There have been many examples in recent years, all projected towards the communication of cultural heritage, including willingness to safeguard and defend the values they represent.
