ArcHistoR is indexing in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), in the new edition of Web of Science™.
ArcHistoR has been accepted by the editorial staff of Thomson Reuters, now part of Clarivate Analytics, for indexing in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), in the new edition of Web of Science™.
ESCI was launched in late 2015 as a new database within Clarivate Analytics’ (formerly Thomson Reuters) Web of Science. The database contains approximately 6000 journals from all over the world, including the prestigious Italian journal Archeologia Medievale and Aestimum.
Journals are identified for inclusion in ESCI based on relevance to a scholarly community, interest to opinion leaders, coverage of emerging fields, and feedback given by Web of Science customers. They should meet technical requirements and have an English language bibliography. All ESCI journals are peer reviewed, follow ethical publishing practices, and are searchable, discoverable, and citable.
Indexing in the ESCI will improve the visibility of a journal, and provide editorial and technical quality for scholars, authors and institutions.
